News: ISO Image Creator's functionality is now built into Bootabler, which can create bootable USB installers or export ISO/DMG images from the same app. ISO Image Creator remains available and supported for existing workflows.

Any installer, any format

ISO Image Creator takes an "Install macOS" or "Install Mac OS X" installer app and converts it into a standard bootable ISO, ready to burn, mount in a VM, or hand off to tools like VMware, Parallels, or VirtualBox that don't understand Apple's own installer format.

It supports installers from Mavericks through the latest macOS release, though it doesn't work with InstallAssistant.pkg files or beta versions of macOS.
